As one of the owners, this started from the ground up. The goal wasn’t just to build a brand, it was to create a marketing system that could support real growth from day one.

The Challenge

Starting from zero meant everything needed to be clear and connected. Without structure, it’s easy for messaging, visuals, and customer experience to drift in different directions.

What was built

A clear foundation across:

  • Positioning and messaging
  • Website and customer flow
  • Visual identity and on-site presence

Every piece was designed to work together, not as separate parts.

The Outcome

The result is a brand that’s easy to recognize, easy to understand, and consistent across every touchpoint.

From the website to the trailer, everything reinforces the same experience, which supports repeat customers, stronger word of mouth, and continued growth.

This work started by stepping into an organization where marketing existed, but wasn’t fully connected. The goal was to bring structure and clarity to how everything worked together.

The Challenge

With multiple programs, lending services, and audiences, marketing efforts can easily become fragmented. Messaging, content, and communication were happening across different areas, but without a clear system tying them together.

What was built

A more structured marketing foundation across:

  • Messaging and positioning
  • Improved website and content flow
  • Ongoing content strategy through blog and social
  • Internal coordination and communication

The focus was on creating alignment so each part supported the others, instead of operating independently.

The Outcome

The result is a clearer, more consistent marketing approach that supports programs, lending, and community engagement.

Website traffic and visibility improved through more consistent content, while branding and messaging became more aligned across every touchpoint.

Marketing is now more focused, intentional, and easier to manage.

Because better marketing starts with better thinking.

Most marketing problems aren’t obvious at first. They show up as scattered messaging, disconnected tools, and work that never quite adds up.

OddCurious is built on asking better questions and looking deeper to understand what’s actually going on beneath the surface.

Curiosity is how the problem becomes clear.
The Odd part is the willingness to see what others miss and approach it differently.

That’s how structure is created. And that’s where real progress happens.

Hey. I’m Jose. I run Odd Curious.

If you’ve landed here, you’re probably wondering what this thing is and who’s steering it. So here’s the short version.

I’ve worked in branding and strategy for a while now. Agency-side, freelance, in-house, you name it. Somewhere along the way, I got tired of the same old playbook. The trend-chasing,the buzzwords, and trying to be everything to everyone.

Odd Curious is my answer to that. A studio for brands that want meaning. Built for people who think a little differently and want their work to show it.

This blog, Notes from the Deep End, is where I’ll share some thoughts. Stuff that doesn’t always fit in a client doc or a case study. Strategy notes. Creative thinking. Opinions. Maybe the occasional studio update if I remember.

Glad you’re here. Let’s see where it goes.
